Laura works as an Account Director in a global marketing agency. She was looking for a car for work and personal use, and wanted something sporty. Having used car comparison websites to do some research, she set her heart on an Audi TT and approached her local dealership. After some problems with dealers, she contacted Baileys New Cars Direct who stepped in to save the day. She told us about her experience:
“I was getting really frustrated. I told one dealership my budget and they came in three times over that, which was a waste of their time and mine. They told me that people that buy these sort of cars are the same people who get regular pay rises and promotions so budget is not an issue.
Another dealership wanted me to compromise on the spec of the car and said ‘me and my boys can come round and teach you how to reverse and park your car.’ They were trying to push me into a car which I didn’t really want and claimed they couldn’t source the vehicle in the time frame. I just felt they didn’t have MY best interests at heart and were trying to fob me off. I came across Baileys New Cars Direct on twitter, and decided I had nothing to lose by giving them a call. I’m so glad I did. They managed to get the car that I wanted – and it was cheaper than what my local dealership had offered me.
Donna and Dan are clearly knowledgeable about the industry, are really helpful and worked quickly to help me sort this out just a couple of days before I was going on holiday. I’ve recommended them to multiple friends and colleagues because the end to end experience was great. I got the car I wanted for the budget I wanted and great service.”
What were the savings?
Laura saved £3,932 off the list price plus a further £2,250 off for taking Audi PCP (Finance)
